§ 31.13  RETITLEMENT OF CITY ENGINEER TO DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC WORKS BY STATE LAW.
   (A)   Unless a job position is filled by a professional engineer, the state or a political subdivision (as defined in IC 36-1-2-13) may not  use  the  word  “engineer”  in  the  position's  job title.

   (B)   The position previously referred to as the City Engineer is retitled and shall be known as the Director of Public Works.
