636.20   MINORS CURFEW.
   (a)   No minor under the age of 18 years shall be upon any street, sidewalk or public or private property, without the consent of the owner or lawful resident thereof, between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the next day Sunday through Thursday and between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday, unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian having care and/or custody of the minor or unless such minor is upon an emergency errand or legitimate business directed by his or her parent or legal guardian, which shall be determined at the discretion of the investigating officer.
   (b)   No parent or legal guardian having the care and/or custody of a minor under the age of 18 years shall knowingly permit such minor to be upon any street, sidewalk or public or private property, without the consent of the owner or lawful resident thereof, between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. of the next day Sunday through Thursday and between 12:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.
   (c)   A minor under the age of 18 who violates this section shall be adjudged an unruly child, with such disposition of the case as may be appropriate under Ohio R.C. Chapter 2151. A parent or legal guardian who violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor. The penalty shall be as provided in Section 698.02.
