The following definitions contained in Chapter 2, Section 202 of the Ohio Plumbing Code shall apply to the interpretation of this Plumbing Regulation.
(a) “Approved.” Accepted or acceptable under an applicable specification stated or cited in this Plumbing Regulation, or accepted as suitable for the proposed use under procedures and powers of administration delegated in this Plumbing Regulation.
(b) “Building.” An enclosed structure having exterior or party walls and a roof designed for the shelter of persons, animals or property.
(c) “Erected.” Altered or changed, as well as any new installation.
(d) “Person.” A natural person, his or her heirs, executors, administrators or assigns, and includes a firm, partnership or corporation and its or their successors or assigns. The singular includes the plural, and the masculine includes the feminine.
