220.04   SALARY ADJUSTMENTS; VACATIONS.

   (d)   The City Manager shall be entitled to a period of paid vacation of four weeks per calendar year. Such vacation will be awarded in full at the beginning of each calendar year. The City Manager is encouraged to avail himself or herself of the vacation period. Any vacation that is unused at the end of a calendar year can be carried over to the next year or paid as compensation. Vacation may accrue to a maximum of 8 weeks (two years of accumulation). Vacation that is awarded during a calendar year will be pro-rated, for compensation purposes, upon termination for that year only.
