The intent of R-5 Medium Density Residential Districts is to protect the integrity of established neighborhoods where lot sizes are 8,000 square feet or larger. Open space shall be provided by a building area not to exceed twenty-three percent of the lot area, and the number of residential uses shall not exceed five units per gross acre.
