(a) Whoever violates or fails to comply with any of the provisions of this Zoning Code is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred dollars ($100.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation or noncompliance occurs or continues.
(b) The owner or tenant of any building, structure, premises or part thereof, or any architect, builder, contractor, agent or other person who commits, participates in, assists in or maintains such a violation or noncompliance, is guilty of a separate offense and shall suffer the penalty provided in subsection (a) hereof. Nothing in this section shall prevent the Municipality from taking such other lawful action as is necessary to prevent or remedy such a violation or noncompliance.
