(a) Review of Preliminary Plat. The Planning Board shall review the preliminary plat submitted by a subdivider and either accept, accept with modifications or reject such preliminary plat.
(b) Evaluation of Recommendations. The Board shall, in the course of reviewing both the preliminary and final plats, evaluate the recommendations of the Enforcement Officer and Director of Public Service with regard to such plats.
(c) Review of Final Plat. The Board shall review the final plat and construction drawings submitted by the subdivider, check that the final plat is in accordance with the preliminary plat, check that the construction drawings are in accordance with these Subdivision Regulations and other requirements of the Municipality, determine that the requirements of Chapters 1226, 1228 and 1232 through 1238 have been met and either accept with modification or reject the final plat.
(d) Recommendations to Council.
(1) Public improvements. The Board shall make recommendations to Council as to the acceptance of public improvements contained in each subdivision.
(2) Amendments. The Board shall make recommendations to Council concerning the need for, and types of, amendments to these Subdivision Regulations at such times as amendments are felt to be appropriate.
