(a) A person may visit or telephone the office of the Clerk of Council during the Clerk's regular office hours to determine, based on information available at such office:
(1) The time and place of regular meetings of a Municipal body;
(2) The time, place and purpose of known special meetings of such body; and
(3) Whether or not the available agenda of any future meeting of such body states that any specific type of public business, identified by such person, is to be discussed at such meeting.
(b) Any notification provided for in this chapter to be given by the Clerk may be given by a person acting on behalf of or under the authority of the Clerk.
(c) A reasonable attempt at any notification provided for in this chapter shall constitute notification in compliance with this chapter.
(d) A certificate by the Clerk as to compliance with this chapter shall be conclusive upon the Municipality and the Municipal body involved.
(e) The Clerk shall maintain a record of the date and manner, and the time if pertinent under this chapter, of all actions taken with regard to notices and notifications as provided for in Sections 208.05, 208.06 and 208.07, and shall retain copies of proofs of publication of any notification or notice published.
