The permittee shall maintain sufficient barricades, warning signs and lights during the entire period that the work is being done. Whenever the permittee fails to provide or maintain the required safety devices, such devices shall be installed and maintained by the Municipality. The cost of such installation and maintenance shall be paid by the permittee or deducted from his or her deposit.
