(A) The Law Enforcement Gift Fund shall be established and shall continue perpetually to accept donations for specific projects or programs. Donations shall be collected by the Clerk-Treasurer’s office and deposited in a separate fund to be known as the Law Enforcement Gift Fund. A separate depository account shall not be required.
(B) At such time as the Town Council determines that the Law Enforcement Gift Fund is no longer necessary, by majority vote of the Town Council, the Fund may be terminated and any and all remaining balances shall be deposited in the General Fund.
