§ 150.046 MINIMUM SIZES OF WOOD FRAMING, STUDDING, CORNER CONSTRUCTION.
   Where wood is permitted the following shall be the minimum size of timbers used (the allowable spans herein listed are based on use of southern yellow pine, No. 2 dimension, medium grain):
   (A)   Studding: 2 inch by 4 inch; maximum spacing for all 1- and 2-story construction shall be 16 inches o.c; 1-story private garage, maximum 24 inches o.c.
   (B)   Corner construction: Not less than three 2 x 4s set to receive interior finish.
