(A) No person shall keep more than a total of 3 dogs or cats over the age of 6 months per household in any residential area zone. These restrictions mean a total of 3 animals; for example, 2 dogs and 1 cat, or 2 cats and 1 dog, but in no event shall the total number exceed 3 of the animals per household.
(B) This restriction shall not apply to property which is at least 1/3 of an acre of land (14,520 square feet); however, any person owning more than 3 animals must comply with division (C) herein.
(C) Persons desiring to have more than 3 animals who meet the regulation set forth in division (B) herein must have a minimum of 1,000 additional square feet for each additional animal.
