For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PARADE. A procession of vehicles, animals, and/or persons, or a march, athletic event, public walk, or promenade of any length on a public thoroughfare requiring the cessation of normal traffic thereupon.
