(a) No person shall raise, keep, maintain or harbor chickens, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea hens, pigs, sheep, cows, horses, goats or any birds, fowl or animals on any parcel of land, lot or sublot within the limits of the Municipality. However, the keeping or harboring of a dog, cat, canary, parrot or any similar bird or animal which has historically been customarily maintained or harbored as a pet shall be permissible on any parcel of land, lot or sublot.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
