137.02 CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION.
   (a)   Any contractor, general contractor or subcontractor engaged in contracting, construction, alteration, repair, replacement, removal or demolition of buildings or structures shall before performing any work within the boundary limits of the Village, register with the New Boston Building Department.
 
   (b)   A contractor, general contractor or subcontractor shall, before performing any work, submit the following to the New Boston Building Department:
      (1)   Original $10,000 Bond made payable to New Boston as oblige.
      (2)   Copy of liability insurance with a minimum coverage of $300,000.
      (3)   Copy of workers compensation certificate.
      (4)   State license, if required.
      (5)   Certificate of registration with the Village of New Boston’s Income Tax Department.
      (6)   An annual registration fee of seventy-five dollars ($75.00).
 
   (c)   A registration certificate issued by the New Boston Building Department shall be valid until December 31st and shall be renewed annually thereafter.
