(a) There is hereby created a Planning Commission as authorized by Ohio R.C. Chapter 713, consisting of five members to include the Mayor, one member of Council to be elected by Council for the remainder of his term of office and three residents of the Municipality to be appointed by the Mayor for the terms of six years each, except that the term of one of the members of the first commission shall be for four years and one for two years. All such members shall serve without compensation.
(b) The Planning Commission shall have all the powers and duties authorized by the Ohio Revised Code.
