The administration and enforcement of this chapter shall be the duty of the Director of Building Department, who is hereby authorized to take such action as may be reasonably necessary to enforce this chapter. Such person may be appointed and authorized as assistants or agents of the Director as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this chapter.
