It is the purpose of the Zoning Ordinance to promote the public safety, health, convenience, comfort, morals, prosperity, general welfare and orderly development of the Municipality, through the establishment of zones or districts, wherein are regulated the usage of land and structures, intensity of land use, potential hazards to life and property, conservation and protection of property values, and facilitation of adequate but economical provisions for public improvements.
