(a) At the expiration of the term of the service contract, or upon its termination as provided herein, the Company shall forthwith, upon notice by the Village, remove at its own expense all designated portions of the cable system from all streets and public property within the Village. If the Company fails to do so, the Village may perform the work at the Company's expense. A bond shall be furnished by the Company in an amount as determined by the Village and sufficient to cover this expense eighteen months prior to the expiration of the contract or upon receipt of notice of a termination proceeding as set forth in Section 737.41.
(b) Any portion of the cable system which is not removed by the Company within nine months of notice to so remove shall be considered abandoned and shall become the property of the Village. (Ord. 12- 83. Passed 2-15- 83.)
