All applications shall be made in writing to the Mayor and shall contain a statement of the price of admission for each exhibition or show, and the price of reserved seats. Upon approval of any application the Mayor shall direct the applicant to pay the proper amount to the Clerk and the Mayor shall issue a license indicating in the license the number of days for which the show or exhibition may be given.
