(a) Burial within the corporation limits of the Municipality of dead human bodies, other than in a regularly established or generally recognized cemetery, is hereby prohibited.
(b) In case any dead human body is buried within the corporation limits other than in a regularly established or generally recognized cemetery, the Mayor shall immediately upon learning of such unlawful burial cause the Street Commissioner or any police officer of the Municipality to have such body removed and to bury the same either in a regularly established or generally recognized cemetery within the Municipality or to be buried outside the limits of the corporation. The provisions of this subsection shall be treated as a remedy, additional to the penalty prescribed in subsection (c).

(c) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree.
