§ 150.37 ENFORCEMENT.
   (A)   The responsibility for the enforcement of this subchapter is assigned to the staff of the Planning Department to include, but not limited to, the Building Inspection Official and his or her deputy, the Zoning Administrator and his or her deputy, the Delinquent Tax Collector and his or her deputy, the Flood Management Official, the Director of Public Works, the Tax Assessor and his or her authorized employees, and any other duly appointed and acting Code Enforcement Officer.
   (B)   In addition, the Sheriff, or any of his or her deputies or constables, and any other duly commissioned law enforcement officer, may investigate and prosecute violations.
   (C)   At the discretion of the County Administrator, additional employees may be assigned responsibility to assist with the enforcement of this subchapter.
   (D)   Any civil action required to enforce this subchapter may be commenced by the County Attorney in the name of the county, after consultation
with, and at the direction of, the County Council and/or the County Administrator acting on behalf of
Council.
   (E)   If the last day for taking any action required by this subchapter falls on a Saturday, Sunday, holiday or other day when the Courthouse is closed for business, the time allowed for compliance shall automatically be extended to the close of the next business day.
