(A) The moving permit shall accompany the manufactured home while it is being moved.
(1) The moving permit shall be designed and displayed in accordance with regulations to be issued by the South Carolina Department of Revenue, which shall adopt such regulations as may be necessary to insure uniform licensing and moving permit procedures.
(2) It shall be the responsibility of the manufactured home transporter that the required moving permit is properly displayed, and accompanies the manufactured home while it is being moved.
(B) It shall be a violation of this subchapter for any manufactured home dealer or transporter of a manufactured home to move a manufactured home, unless the owner or agent of such manufactured home has obtained the moving permit as required by this subchapter.
