(A) Clerk of Court to collect fees and costs. The Newberry County Council, as the governing body of Newberry County, hereby directs the Clerk of Court to collect the uniform fees and costs set forth in S.C. Code § 8-21-310, as amended, plus any other fees and costs for filing land records, litigation records, or other records required by law to be filed with the Clerk of Court.
(B) Accounting and reporting system. The Clerk of Court shall establish an accounting and reporting system for the receipt, safekeeping, allocation, and disbursement of funds collected by the Clerk of Court.
(C) Effective date. This section will take effect 30 days after the installation of the new computer system and software in the office of the Clerk of Court in order to allow sufficient time for training and transition unless agreed on earlier between the Clerk of Court and the County Treasurer.
