Those machines defined in § 110.01 and located in the unincorporated areas of Newberry County are subject to a $150 per fiscal year per machine license fee; however, the fee is to be in an amount as authorized under S.C. Code § 12-21-2720, as amended by Act 501 of the 1992 Acts and Joint Resolutions of the General Assembly, and as may be amended from time to time hereafter, and which section currently provides that the county license fee may not exceed 10% of the regular license fee imposed by state statute, which is currently 10% of $3,6000 per fiscal year.
