§ 96.132 ENFORCEMENT OF STATE LAWS AND REGISTRATION OF DANGEROUS ANIMALS.
   (A)   Officers of Newberry County Animal Care and Control are authorized to enforce all state laws relating to dogs, cats, domestic pets and other animals as set forth in Title 47 of the S.C. Code of Laws, 1976, as amended, and in any other part of the South Carolina Code of Laws.
   (B)   DANGEROUS ANIMALS, as defined in S.C. Code § 47-3-710 are required to be registered with Newberry County Animal Care and Control and the required proof of liability insurance or surety bond filed with that department, subject to approval by it. County Council from time to time by resolution or by other formal Council action will establish any other requirements for registration, including registration fees.
