§ 96.110 SANITATION.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any pet owner to allow the excrement of their animal(s) to accumulate so that it may be offensive by sight or smell to the public, or other property owners so that they cannot utilize or enjoy their property. All owners should dispose of waste in a sanitary matter. If a complaint is received by Newberry County Animal Care and Control, they will investigate and the property owner will be warned and given a time frame to take care of the problem.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any pet owner to allow their pet's excreta to be discharged and remain on private or public property other than that of the pet owner themselves. The pet owner should immediately remove their pet's waste.
   (C)   In the case of excrement remaining on the pet owner's property, it shall be unlawful for a person to allow their animal's environment to accumulate an amount of excrement that is detrimental to the health of the animal or of the public.
