§ 96.079 UNWANTED ANIMALS TO GO UP FOR ADOPTION UPON BECOMING THE CUSTODY OF NEWBERRY COUNTY AND THE DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL CARE AND CONTROL.
   All animals that are unwanted by their owners may immediately go up for adoption upon becoming the custody of Newberry County and its Department of Animal Care and Control, if they are deemed to be generally healthy and of a good disposition. All strays, after their 5-day hold, may also be adopted out if they are healthy and thought to be of good temperament.
