There shall be a $5 annual registration fee assessed for each rental unit, except as provided in I.C. 36-1-20-5 (as may be amended), located within the city after the initial registration and obtaining of a rental permit. The above-referenced registration fee shall be paid on or before January 31 of each year after a rental permit has been obtained.
