§ 91.15 ANIMALS AFFLICTED WITH CONTAGIOUS DISEASE.
   No domestic or exotic animal afflicted with a contagious or infectious disease shall be allowed to run at-large or be exposed in any public place within the city whereby the health of man or animal may be affected; nor shall such diseased animal be shipped or removed from the premises of the owner, except for the purposes of transporting directly to obtain veterinary assistance, or by the order of the chief of the police department in the civil city, or the county sheriff within the unincorporated areas of the county, or an animal control officer. Any person or entity who violates this section shall be subject to the penalty provided in § 91.99 of this chapter.
