(A) Pursuant to I.C. 36-7-4-509, the "New Albany-Fringe Area Comprehensive Plan 2000", dated April 1982, is adopted as the official comprehensive plan of the city, subject to the resolution of the Common Council amending the "New Albany-Fringe Area Comprehensive Plan 2000", passed on August 2, 1982.
(B) The Comprehensive Plan shall be used as the policy basis for future amendments to, or the creation of various regulatory mechanisms for its enforcement, including the city's Zoning Code and Subdivision Control Ordinance.
