For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
PRECIOUS METAL. Any gold, silver or platinum, in any shape, form or use.
PRECIOUS METAL DEALER. Any individual, firm, corporation or partnership engaged in the business of purchasing and reselling precious metal at a permanently established place of business or in connection with a business of an itinerant nature.
