Applications for licenses as direct sellers, solicitors or canvassers shall be made to the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city. The applicant shall give his or her complete identification, his or her signature, the name of his or her employer, the nature of the product or services in which he or she is interested, the names of the manufacturers of the products or of the organization he or she is representing and the proposed method of operation in the city. The applicant shall state the description and the number of vehicles, if any, intended to be operated, in direct selling, soliciting or canvassing in the city.
