This chapter shall be administered by the Board of Public Works and Safety of the city.
(A) Duties. It shall be the duty of the Board to administer the provisions of this chapter, to receive applications for licensing, to conduct such hearings as may be necessary to determine whether licenses should be issued, to ensure compliance with the provisions of this chapter by regulating licensees and to conduct suspension and revocation proceedings when required.
(B) Injunctive relief. The Board is empowered to seek injunctive relief for violations of this chapter should other means prove ineffective, and a threat to public health and safety exist.
