The company shall, within ten days after this chapter becomes effective, file in the office of the City Clerk a written acceptance of this chapter. Failure on the part of the company to file the written acceptance within this time shall be deemed an abandonment and rejection of the rights conferred hereby, and this chapter shall thereupon be null and void. The acceptance shall be unqualified and shall be construed to be an acceptance of all the terms, conditions and restrictions contained in this chapter.
