§ 35.03 ALLOWANCE OF CITY CLAIMS; AUTHORITY.

   The statutory authority for allowing and approving of claims and the payment of various obligations of the city as set forth below is hereby delegated to the Board of Public Works and Safety:

   (A)   Bonds and coupons;

   (B)   Public employees retirement fund checks;

   (C)   FICA checks;

   (D)   Insurance checks;

   (E)   Investment checks;

   (F)   Contract renewal checks;

   (G)   Checks for the payment of federal withholding taxes and state withholding taxes;

   (H)   Checks for the payment of the fuel use tax;

   (I)   Ambulance payments;

   (J)   Payroll reimbursements;

   (K)   Claims reimbursements;

   (L)   Federal gas tax payments; and

   (M)   Occasional checks which are deemed necessary by the Mayor of the city and/or the Controller of the city.
