(A) The labor organization selected by the majority of the firefighters of the city shall be recognized by the city as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all of the members of the city's Fire Department, unless and until recognition of the labor organization is withdrawn by a vote of a majority of the firefighters.
(B) The labor organization selected by the majority of the police officers of the city shall be recognized by the city as the sole and exclusive bargaining agent for all of the members of the city's Police Department, unless and until recognition of the labor organization is withdrawn by vote of a majority of the police officers.
