All general, home improvement, specialty and skilled trade contractors or subcontractors who do work in the city shall register with the City Manager upon such forms and including such information as the City Manager may deem necessary in order to accomplish the purpose of this chapter. Upon review and approval of a perfected application, the City Manager shall cause a certificate of registration to be issued verifying compliance.
