§ 76.13 IMPOUNDING OF VEHICLES.
   Any police officer or meter attendant may order into storage any vehicle parked at a place where parking is prohibited, or which has been parked for more than one hour in excess of the time allowed for parking in that place, or which has been involved in one or more violations of traffic ordinances for which citation tags have been issued and not presented as required by § 78.01. Any person desiring to redeem such impounded vehicle, and having the right to possession of such vehicle, shall first pay to the city the value of those unpaid citations that caused such impoundment. The Chief of Police shall designate the place of storage of any motor vehicle found in violation of this ordinance. Any person desiring to redeem such impounded vehicle and having the right to the possession of such vehicle shall pay all towing and storage charges as set forth in § 7.06.17. Violations of this ordinance shall be a minor misdemeanor.
