§ 10.32 CREDIT TOWARD FINES; IMPRISONMENT.
   Where a fine is imposed in whole or in part, in punishment for the violation of any misdemeanor or the violation of an ordinance within the corporation of the city and the judge or magistrate has authority to order that the defendant stand committed to the jail of this city or the county until said fine is paid or secured to be paid, the persons so imprisoned shall receive credit upon such fine at the rate of $72 per day.
