§ 50.06 SHUT OFF PROCEDURE; ABATEMENT POLICY.
   (A)   Customers who experience utility service shutoff must pay their full balance owed plus a shut off fee of $75 before service can be reconnected or reinstated. This includes past due balances, the most recent balance, the shut off fee of $75 and all other charges owed at the time of proposed reconnection. Once this payment is made, it is understood that the balance of the customer account will now owe $0, to be eligible for reconnection.
   (B)   There shall be a two-tier premium for water loss abatement policies for the city; $30 for $500 in coverage; and $50 for $1,000 in coverage. The abatement policy is a premium paid that covers the policy holder for up to the coverage amount if their utility bill is excessive due to a leak for water loss event.
