(A) Names of new streets are subject to the approval of the county or Hocking County Emergency Communications/911 office. Such names shall not duplicate or be similar to those of existing or platted streets, regardless of the use of the suffix “street”, “avenue”, “lane” and the like.
(B) When a new street is a direct extension of an existing street, the name shall remain the same.
(C) Street names shall be displayed at each street intersection with street signs of the type established by the county. The sub-divider is responsible for the cost of purchasing and installing all signage.
