The City Manager, his or her designee or the Code Enforcement Officer may conduct periodic exterior inspections of rental units registered under this chapter in order to enforce existing or future codes and ordinances related to clean, safe and sanitary premises conditions. Inspection may be from the public right-of-way or conducted on premises with the presentation of proper credentials.
