§ 151.202 INSPECTION OF IMPROVEMENTS.
   (A)   (1)   The City Manager shall coordinate with the appropriate County Health Department or other appropriate agency to provide for inspection of required improvements during construction and ensure their satisfactory completion. A professional engineer, licensed in the state and under contract with the sub-divider, shall supervise inspection of the construction improvements and shall sign and certify inspection reports provided by the City Manager.
      (2)   The City Manager shall be notified at least 24 hours in advance of placement of road base material, culvert cover material and road surface material. The City Manager may assess fees for any inspection performed by his or her staff. An inspection schedule shall be finalized by the City Manager and sub-divider before any work begins.
      (3)   If, in the opinion of the City Manager, installations are improper or inadequate, the Inspector shall issue a stop order.
   (B)   Failure to comply with the City Manager’s recommendations during construction shall be deemed a violation of these regulations, subject to having the approved final plat invalidated by the City Manager.
