§ 34.047 DEPOSIT OF STOLEN PROPERTY; PROHIBITION.
   (A)   No officer, patrol officer or other member of the police force shall neglect or refuse to deposit property taken or found by him or her in possession of a person arrested.
   (B)   Any conviction for a violation of this section shall be liable for a fine enumerated in § 34.999.
