(A) There shall be provided for every newly appointed police officer and firefighter a clothing and equipment allowance in the sum as set by City Council and, each year thereafter, there shall be provided clothing or equipment as may be needed for each police officer and firefighter, in a sum as set by City Council.
(B) The following employees shall receive a $30 per month allowance for personal cell phone usage for city business: Police Chief, Fire Chief, Service Director, Water Plant Operator, Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator and Code Officer.
