§ 33.37 CONSTRUCTION.
   (A)   The provisions of this subchapter shall be construed liberally for the accomplishment of the purposes thereof. Nothing contained in this subchapter is intended to conflict with any general law in the state or the United States, and particularly with the statutes providing for the administration of the law by the State Civil Rights Commission, under R.C. §§ 4112.01 through 4112.99. This subchapter shall not be applicable in matters involving the persons and practices which have come under the jurisdiction of the State Civil Rights Commission by the filing of a complaint with said Commission.
   (B)   If any of the provisions of this subchapter, or portion thereof, or applications of such provisions or portions to any person or circumstance shall be held invalid, the remainder of this subchapter and their application to persons or circumstances other than those to which it is held invalid shall not be affected thereby.
