A. It shall be unlawful for any person to sell or give away firecrackers, fireworks of any kind whatsoever, or any toy pistol designed, intended or made for the explosion of any percussion cap or other explosive material or thing. Any person who shall violate this provision shall be fined as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code.
B. Any person who shall set off or discharge any cracker, torpedo, rocket, squib or other fireworks, without the permission of the mayor, who shall designate the time and place the same shall be done, shall be fined in any sum not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one hundred twenty five dollars ($125.00) for each offense.
