6-1-3: LOCATION AND CONSTRUCTION REQUIREMENTS:
   A.   No billboard for advertising purposes shall be allowed to be erected on any vacant property, unless said billboard is located a distance away from the inner line of any adjacent sidewalk, equal to the height of said billboard, plus ten feet (10'), measuring from the surface of the ground upward.
   B.   All billboards located on vacant property, or billboards or signboards attached to any building, shall be securely and safely fastened by sufficient anchors, as affecting the first mentioned, and securely supported by strong iron rods or bolts and firmly attached to the building as affecting the second mentioned, and billboards attached to buildings shall furthermore leave the sidewalk unobstructed.
   C.   No billboard shall be erected within the corporate limits of the city which shall exceed twelve feet (12') in height and twenty feet (20') in length. (Ord. 210, 4-7-1930)
