(a) Planning Commission general business meetings shall be held and noticed in conformance with the provisions of Chapter 103 and the rules of the Planning Commission. For hearings on applications and petitions, the Zoning Administrator shall cause to be published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City a notice of the time and place of any hearing on an application or petition. The publications for hearings shall be made not more than thirty nor less than ten days prior to the date of the hearing. In the event there exists other notification requirements in this Code that are specific to the type of application or petition to be considered by the Planning Commission, then those additional notice requirements shall also be met.
(b) The Planning Commission shall hold hearings when required, and be recommendational to Council as it relates to its duties as a Planning and Platting Commission, unless otherwise provided by ordinance or resolution of Council.
